4 Counties for Kids (4C4K) is a cross-sectoral collaboration of service providers with a focus on children and youth from prenatal to 18 years in the four communities of Peterborough, Northumberland, City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton that was established in the fall of 2014.  The current structure of 4C4K is comprised of a Senior Executive Group (SEG) and the Integrated Planning Committee (IPC). The Senior Executive Group includes leaders of organizations who have a regional mandate that includes providing service within at least one of the four counties or an organization that maintains a mandate to provide services to a significant population of the children and youth within the four counties.

The Integrated Planning Committee (IPC) will be responsible for implementing Strategic Directions of the 4C4K Collaborative as set out by the Senior Executive Group (SEG).  Membership includes senior staff member representing each of the member organizations of the Senior Executive Group and various service sectors. Chairs of the children’s planning tables in the County of Northumberland, City and County of Peterborough, and City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton are members of the IPC maintaining an important link to the work of these local tables.
